  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove the toothpicks before serving. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
